For Elisha, it began with purpose.
During the planning process for her session at The Vibe Creative Studio, she shared a phrase that immediately helped shape the direction of her shoot: “purpose nurturer.”
Her vision is centered around helping women step into their passions, uncover their purpose, and feel supported as they begin building something of their own. As a speaker and creative who helps brands find their voice, develop their style, and build meaningful brand identities, her work is deeply rooted in encouragement, connection, and helping other people see what’s possible for themselves.
We wanted her photos to feel exactly like that.
Creating a Brand Session That Feels Like You
One of the biggest parts of preparing for a branding session isn’t deciding how to pose or even what outfits to wear.
It’s asking: How do you want someone to feel when they experience your brand?
For Elisha, we leaned into a visual direction that felt soft, feminine, approachable, thoughtful, and encouraging.
Instead of creating something that felt overly corporate or polished for the sake of being polished, we wanted the session to have warmth. The kind of imagery that feels like sitting down with someone who immediately makes you feel understood, while still communicating that she knows exactly how to help you bring your ideas to life.
That balance became the foundation for everything we incorporated into the shoot.
Using the Details to Tell More of the Story
Brand photography is about so much more than headshots.
The little details surrounding you can help tell your audience who you are before you ever say a word.
Throughout Elisha’s session, we incorporated elements that felt natural to her personality and the brand she is creating. From softer styling and feminine details to moments that felt relaxed and lived-in, each part of the session added another layer to the story.

What would actually be around you while you’re creating?
What inspires you?
What textures, colors, objects, books, tools, or personal touches feel like they belong in your world?
What would make someone look at an image and immediately think, “That feels like her.”
Because those pieces matter.
They’re often what transforms a beautiful photo into a brand photo.
A Visual Extension of Her Purpose
For someone whose work is centered around helping other people develop their voice, it felt especially important that Elisha’s own imagery had a clear voice too.
It was about visually communicating what was already there: femininity, creativity, warmth, leadership, faith, encouragement, and a genuine desire to help women move forward in their purpose.
